Ingredients

Dry Rub
Ribs & Cooking Liquid

Method

  1. Combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, cumin, and cayenne in a small bowl. Rub the mixture evenly onto both sides of the ribs.

  2. Pour beef broth into the Instant Pot. Arrange ribs inside, then pour barbecue sauce over them.

  3. Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 45 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 15–20 minutes.

  4. Transfer ribs to a serving platter and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.

Notes

The ribs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.

For extra tenderness, allow a full 20-minute natural release; quick release will yield slightly firmer meat.
